Delegate, Track, and Solve Issues
In the IDS® portion of your weekly Level 10 Meeting™, you may encounter instances when you realize that other teams are better equipped to address something than your own. The Sending/Receiving Issues feature allows your team to delegate Issues while maintaining visibility.
To send an Issue:
- Click the Issue's title to open the details popup.
- An arrow appears by the originating team name.
- Select the team from the popup menu to which you want to delegate the Issue.
- Once delegated, the sending team can create to-do’s and update the description. They cannot solve, archive, or delete the Issue until it is returned to them.
- Receiving teams can update the description field with the steps taken to solve the Issue, then send the Issue back to the originating team.
- The Issue lands in the originating team’s list once returned.
Permanently Changing Issue Ownership
You can still change the team that owns the Issue. If your team does not need visibility and instead wants to push the Issue to another team, you can use the Teams dropdown to change the team the Issue is on.
